Meetings
LEAP Youth Alliance's criteria for membership/participation are: choose to be substance free; represent the club well - be well behaved; punctual and polite; be willing to engage; attend 2/3 of our planned meetings/activities; follow meeting rules and accumulate points in order to earn a cord at graduation. We welcome participants with all lived experiences. About LEAP (Leadership. Education. Advocacy. Prevention.) Youth Alliance's mission is to create alternate activities including educational events in partnership with other clubs, Tualatin Together and the community that allow students to enjoy a healthy, substance free and safe high school experience. LEAP uses the Strategic Prevention Framework and evidence based strategies we have been trained on during national conferences hosted by the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America to set goals and direct the work and fun of the club. LEAP seeks to partner with other Tualatin High School clubs as we plan meaningful activities for our school and community. We are excited about our transition from StandUp Tualatin to LEAP and hope you will join with us as we unite to encourage safer and healthier ways to have fun in your high school experience. |
